Ephraim Egbele, CPA
Founder and Managing DirectorEphraim Egbele is Founder and Managing Director of EFS Group, PLLC where he focuses on client relations and business development. Ephraim has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2012.
Previously, Ephraim was an Audit Associate at Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he worked on financial audit engagements of large Fortune 100 companies. Since 2009, Ephraim has dedicated his career to helping small business owners strategize on how they can maximize their profits while lowering their tax liabilities. Ephraim dedicates his work to helping entrepreneurs improve their business finances and in turn, grow their businesses.
Ephraim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Houston. Ephraim is a Gold-level Xero Certified Advisor. He is also a proud member of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). For fun, he enjoys traveling, dining out and spending time with his wife and twin boys.
Rita Egbele, CPA
Chief Operating OfficerRita Egbele is the Chief Operating Officer of EFS Group, PLLC where she focuses on project management and the day-to-day operations of the firm. She began working as an accountant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and left as a Manager after 7 years. Her experience includes performing financial statement audits for publicly traded and private companies.
Rita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration from Howard University. She became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2008. She holds CPA licenses in Virginia and Texas.
Rita enjoys working out, traveling and exploring different cultures and foods. She is also a home-body and enjoys spending time at home with her husband, twin boys and close friends.
Jerry Mendez
Accounting ManagerJerry Mendez focuses on problem-solving and work review as the Accounting Manager of EFS Group, PLLC. As an accountant with five years of experience, Jerry is committed to helping small businesses succeed. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and is a Xero Certified Advisor, and is actively working towards his goal of becoming a CPA. For fun, he enjoys barbecuing on the weekends and spending time with his family.
Krisa Bly
Finance Team LeadKrisa is the Finance Team Lead for EFS Group, PLLC where she focuses on our real estate and professional service clientele. Krisa has a knack for budgets, forecasting, and business planning. Krisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University-San Antonio. In addition, she is actively pursuing the CPA exam with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. For fun, she enjoys yoga, family time, and traveling.
Arica Hall
Tax Resolution Case ManagerArica Hall is the Tax Resolution Case Manager at EFS Group, PLLC where she focuses on our tax relief and tax resolution clientele. She has over 15 years of customer service experience, 10 years of accounting experience and 7 years of tax resolution experience. Arica has helped many people resolve their IRS tax debts with a financial analysis breakdown of income, expenses and assets to place them in a resolution for protection. For fun she enjoys spending quality time with her son, family and friends.
Jerama Walton
Financial AccountantJerama Walton is a Senior Financial Analyst with more than 15 years of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, and forecasting experience in the telecommunications and entertainment services industries. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida A&M University and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Phoenix.
Jerama develops annual operating and long-range plans for various organizations along with analysis and performance reporting to stakeholders. In the telecommunications industry, she manages subscriber forecasts and quarterly financial forecasts to increase business unit and market-level growth. While supporting the sales market and region, she also mitigates cost inefficiencies and other risks. In her free time, Jerama enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching sports.
Cheryl Westby
Lead AccountantCheryl Westby is an Accountant at EFS Group where she ensures all financials are current, accurate, timely. With more than ten years of accounting and bookkeeping experience, she focuses on real estate-based accounting for our clients. She is currently pursuing an additional degree in order to obtain her ACCA license. For fun she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and spending time with her kids.
Irene Tuyud
Catch-Up AccountantIrene has more than 25 undisputable years of accounting experience. As financial services professional, she has worked for small, medium, and large companies and organizations at multiple levels and in different industries, including serving as accountant and office manager for the British High Commission in Belize for more than 10 years. Irene also has a decade of experience as a financial services entrepreneur.
Irene has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, numerous certificates that include an International Auditing Certificate from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a Selection and Staffing Human Resources Certificate from Cornell University. She is working on her ACCA qualification to become a CPA in Belize.
Irene enjoys the outdoors, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Tiffany Lanza
Catch-Up AccountantTiffany Lanza is an Accountant at EFS Group, PLLC where she focuses on preparing financials and making sure all books are caught up, accurate, and up to date. Previously, Tiffany worked in the tourism industry providing web-based marketing services, along with Administrator services for more than 5 years. Tiffany holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Galen University. For fun, she enjoys learning new things, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her children and family.
Keisha Neal
Executive AssistantKeisha is the Executive Assistant for EFS Group, PLLC, where she focuses on client onboarding and day-to-day administrative duties. Keisha has 15 years of work experience in customer experience and business administration with a specialization in Quality Assurance, recruitment, and HR. Keisha holds an associate degree in Marine Biology. Also noteworthy is her passion for volunteerism and work with low-income elementary schools.
Keisha loves animals and the environment.
In her free time, enjoys traveling, cooking for her family, listening to music, reading, and playing brain games.
Jomo Myles
Administrative AssistantJomo is an Administrative Project Manager professional with more than seven years of experience in project management and administrative support roles. He has worked for private, public, and international agencies while honing his skills. In his most recent role, Jomo served as Project Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Belize) where he assisted in the successful execution of the Public Awareness Campaign (PAC) highlighting a Belize and Guatemala border dispute.
Jomo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science with International Relations and also a Master’s Degree in International Trade Policy both from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. He also holds several professional certificates in International Negotiations, Renewable Energy, Project Development, and Execution, along with several awards.
He is passionate about the environment, children, and human rights. His personal philosophy is that we were all given a purpose in life, and no two persons’ paths are the same. Jomo believes in equality, harmony, and the true strength that comes from unity. It is this essence and belief that he brings to his work.
Evony Westby
Finance CoordinatorEvony Westby is a Finance Coordinator for EFS Group, PLLC where she focuses on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Sales Tax obligations for our monthly accounting clientele. She holds an associate of Accounting and Business Science from the Sacred Heart Junior College. Evony has working experience in both the private and public sectors. For fun, she enjoys socializing and spending quality time with family and friends.
Rovy Castro
Payroll SpecialistRovy has more than a decade of client service experience in Telecommunications, Emerging Markets, Technical Support, and US Payroll & Tax Implementation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing but is pursuing her very first love which is math and numbers.
Rovy is a Payroll & Tax Specialist who is masterful at setting up payroll accounts and tax policies across 50 states. She is also trained for light bookkeeping using QB Online. For fun, she enjoys watching Netflix with her daughter and cooking her favorite dishes.
Keisha Neal Borland
Catch-Up AccountantKeisha Carla Neal is a Catch-Up Accountant for EFS GROUP PLLC. She has experience working in accounting for the past seven years. Keisha previously worked in healthcare as well as leasing, marketing, and service industries, and product-based accounting.
She is praised for her reliability, efficiency, and her adeptness, which allows for delightful client onboarding and relationship building. Outside of work you will find her challenging youth in board games and sports and watching a good movie.
Harshit Brahmbhatt
Senior Tax AccountantHarshit is an experienced tax-based bookkeeper in various industries.
He has worked on Federal and State tax returns for individuals, partnership firms, corporates, and fiduciaries. He also has experience in accounting and payroll.
Harshit grew up in Kalol, Gujarat with his family. He spends most of his free time with family and friends. He enjoys traveling, and loves Playing Football, his favourite team is Real Madrid.
